Recently, the China Machinery Industry Federation and the China General Machinery Industry Association organized in Dalian a swing-start type of pressure relief valve with operation device for serious accidents developed jointly by Dalian Dagao Valve Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Dalian Dagao) and Zhongguang Nuclear Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as engineering company). The R&D team has worked hard for more than two years to overcome the problems such as opening at 650 C and complete pressure boundary at 1200 C under severe accident conditions, and to form independent intellectual property rights. The academicians and other experts agreed that the product prototype developed jointly by Dalian Dagao and Engineering Company was successful. The main technical parameters and performance indicators reached the advanced level of similar products in the world and could be popularized and applied in nuclear power plants.
